DESCRIPTION: Crustose. A greyish rough lichen with numerous apothecia that are largish and pinkish brown with thick, robust margins. A prominent white margin is usually evident around the entire specimen. DISTRIBUTION: Common throughout. HABITAT: Walls and rocks around the coast and in upland areas. |
