DESCRIPTION | Height - 3 - 6inches. A lime-loving evergreen fern that has fronds which form a rosette. Each frond is made up of a long, slender dark purple midrib which has rounded leaflets along opposite sides. The underside of each leaflet has several dark oblong sori which ripen August to November. |
DISTRIBUTION | Common throughout the British Isles. |
HABITAT | Old rocks and walls. |
