DESCRIPTION: Length up to 17mm. Metallic green and
bronze parallel sided elytra that has numerous indentations and white
markings. The elytra is also somewhat flattened. BEHAVIOUR: Active in sunny weather. A clumsy and
cumbersome beetle. DISTRIBUTION: Locally common throughout wherever the habitat is common. HABITAT: Deep vegetation and in and around flowers. PERIOD: May to September. |
