CAP: 4-20mm in diameter. Kidney to shell shaped with irregular lobing developing with age. The ivory white upper surface is finely tomentose with occasional grooving. The margin of the cap is sometimes slightly inrolled. STIPE: Absent. GILLS/PORES: Gills start whitish becoming pinkish buff. Distant. FLESH: Thin and white with no specific taste or smell. SPORES: Pale yellow, sub-globose to ovoid with short spines. HABITAT: In layered groups on twigs and branches on the woodland floor. SEASON: Common.  Autumn to mid winter. EDIBILITY: Inedible.
