DESCRIPTION: A beautiful creature that does indeed resemble a strawberry. Green speckles on a luscious red background make this anemone readily identifiable. When feeding the tentacles are concolourous with the background. DISTRIBUTION: Sunny south-west shores and various northern shores. HABITAT: Among rocky areas on the lower shore. BEST TIME TO SEE: All year round. |
