CAP: 1-5cm in diameter. Kidney-shaped. Olive to
brownish. Covered with an elastic gelatinous layer.
Extremely sticky and shiny in wet weather. STIPE: Lateral or rudimentary. GILLS/PORES: Gills are pale yellow to orange yellow. Close. FLESH: Thick with no distinct smell or taste. SPORES: White, cylindric. HABITAT: In clusters on dead and living broadleaf trees. SEASON: Occasional. Autumn to early winter. EDIBILITY: Inedible. |
