CAP:2 - 6cm wide.  Starting somewhat campanulate before becoming more flattened with a low umbo.  The surface is dark to pale pink or lilaceous pink, faintly striate and becoming dirty yellowish towards the centre. STIPE: White becoming pinkish and lemon yellow towards the base.  Innately fibrillose. GILLS/PORES: The broad gills are white at first becoming pale pink.  The attachment is deeply sinuate. FLESH: Soft and watery.  When crushed, this bonnet mushroom smells strongly of radish. SPORES: Ellipsoidal, smooth, and measuring 7-9 x 4-5.5μm. HABITAT: Found within litter in primarily broadleaved woodland but also found less frequently in coniferous areas. SEASON: Frequent.  Late summer to early winter. EDIBILITY: Inedible.
