Happy Valley Stockport	25th May - NOSEY NATURE POOTLE - A public walk for young and old with a look at all things natural growing and living in this tucked away oasis. The meeting place will be at the Womanscroft entrance (the junction of Valley Road and Bridge Lane) and the contact number to book your place is 0161 440 8094. 10am til 1pm. Cost £3.



Victoria Park, City Rd, St.Helens, WA10	1st June - FAMILY BUG HUNT - A parkland bug hunt for all, a 90 minute look at those little scurriers and scootlers that keep this planet ticking over and who are all part of a world of miraculous wonder. £7.50 is the cost with 10% of all takings going to help out the local park. Highfield Country Park Bowler Street Manchester M19 2UA	22nd June - FAMILY NOSEY NATURE POOTLE - A free event for adults and children from 10am til 1pm. Caldy Valley NR Chester	1st July - NOSEY NATURE POOTLE - A return to this small area with the local friends group who are, indeed, a lovely set of folks. The aim to record what we can and get the site further on the map. 10 til 1pm.

Dobcroft NR	28th July - DOBCROFT RECORDING DAY - TBC



Marbury CP Northwich	7th September - WOODLAND ODDMENTS - a look at fascinating fungi, glorious galls and sublime scurriers - all intricacies of a world neglected and in need of more attention and more help. Walks are held at 10-12 and 1-3. Booking is essential as places are limited. 01565 733197 (Brenda Yates) is the lady to call. No charge to participants although donations to Friends of Anderson and Marbury (organisers of the event) are welcome.



Arley Hall Back Lane, Arley, Northwich CW9 6NA	15th September - ARLEYS ANNUAL NATURE WALKS - A look at the wildlife of Arley Hall with 2 walks aiming to investigate the world of insects, galls, fungi, flowers and other natural gems. Shropshire	7th October - FUNGAL HUNT - a private walk for the fine folk of the Audlem wildlife ecology group. 10am til 2pm.



Speke Hall The Walk, Speke, Liverpool, L24 1XD	9th October - FUNGI FASCINATION - A 2 hour wander looking at the world of fungi. Identification, conservation and just general enjoyment are the main aims of this walk with emhpasis placed on respecting this miraculous structures. Starts at 11.00am. The meeting place is near the main cafe.



Woodbank community food hub, Woodbank park, SK1 4JS	12th October - FUNGI WALK - 10am til 12.30pm - a welcoming mid-season walk looking at the the local fungi with the aim to provoke interest, encourage conservation and just to see and discuss 50+ species. Tatton Park Knutsford Drive, Knutsford WA16 CW9 6NA	13th Oct - FUNGAL HUNT - Another pootle looking at the world of fungi. Participants should bring a packed lunch and dress for the great outdoors! It is important to note that the purpose of the foray is to learn about the species found and not to collect for culinary use. You will be walking through a part of the park closed to the public containing dead wood habitat. 11am—2:00pm £12 per person (includes Parkland entry valued at £8). The event must be pre booked.
